Troubadour Project kicks off °®°®Ö±²¥â€™s Lyceum Series with ’70s rock revival

STARKVILLE, Miss.—The Troubadour Project, a ’70s rock tribute band, will kick off °®°®Ö±²¥â€™s 77th Lyceum Series with transformative classics from the decade.
The Atlanta-based rockers perform at 7 p.m., Sept. 10, in Lee Hall’s Bettersworth Auditorium. Admission for Lyceum Series events are free for °®°®Ö±²¥ students with a valid ID, and general public tickets are available for purchase at . Individual tickets are $30 per person and $25 for °®°®Ö±²¥ employees and senior citizens. Season and mini-series passes also are available.
Performances by The Troubadour Project are more than covers by a tribute band—they are a celebration of iconic hits that transformed rock’n’roll history. The band captures the essence of the ’70s by faithfully recreating the legendary sounds from groups and artists including Led Zeppelin, The Who, The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac and ELO. Several of the members were touring musicians who supported Sugarland, Jennifer Nettles, Sheryl Crow, Noel Gallagher, Elton Live! and more. Â
